I recently picked up some things from eyeslipsface.com when they were having their 50% off studio sale. I picked up two of their eyeshadow palettes so I thought I would go ahead and review them for you guys!
First up I have the Studio Endless Eyes Pro Mini Palette in Neutral.
I got this palette for $3 during the sale. It's a nice mix of neutrals, mostly shimmer and satin finishes, with a handful of mattes thrown in.
I think the quality of the shadows are hit and miss. I find the shimmer/satin shadows to be much softer and more pigmented than the mattes. With that said, the quality of the shadows vary from color to color. Some of them rivaled my Urban Decay shadows, while others were a little harder and more sheer.
I think for $3 it is a good deal though. Especially for someone who doesn't have a lot of shadows, or is just starting to explore makeup.
There is a pretty good mix of dark, medium and light colors in this palette, which is good for creating a variety of neutral looks.
I do think the shadows benefit greatly, both in staying power and pigmentation, when they are applied over an eye primer. The matte shadows applied 100% better over an eye primer than they did without. You can see in the swatches without primer that the matte shades are very sheer and hard to see, then in the swatches with the primer they are MUCH more pigmented.
My overall opinion is that I think if you are in need of some neutral shadows and either don't wish to shell out the money for a higher cost palette, or just flat out can't afford it, this is a great bargain. Is it going to be perfect? No, but there are enough good shadows in the palette that I would recommend it.
This palette can be purchased at eyeslipsface.com for $6 regularly, but they have sales frequently which would reduce the price.

Thanks for your thorough review and great swatches! I think this rivals my Naked palette!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes I love them! I do find myself reaching for this more than my Naked palettes simply because it has such a great variety of shades.
